The prostate is presented in the pelvis which is below the urinary bladder and surrounding the urethra (urine canal outlet) with a weight of about 20 grams. It is surrounded by a nervous network and blood vessels.

The function of the prostate is for the secretion of the fluid which is very important to nourish the sperm and its movement (from inside the man before ejaculation until it is inside the woman). The sperm is produced in the testicles and transmitted through the epididymis. It is stored in the seminal vesicle until it is ejaculated outside after sexual performance.

Symptoms of prostate dysfunction:

• Pain in the lower abdomen.
• Burn inside the penis.
• Pain in the area under the testicles.
• Over the anus.
• Frequent urination, especially at night. Patients do not feel complete emptying of the urinary bladder.
• Erectile Dysfunction

It is often free of bacteria during basic investigations.

Congestion is the cause of most of the symptoms of prostate dysfunction. Congestion is an increase in the size of the glands and cells in the prostate which leads to the following:

1. Pressure on the urethra and problems with urination.
2. Pressure on the surrounding nerves causing most symptoms.
