Dr. Barakat has held several key leadership roles, including serving as Head of the Gastroenterology Department at Tishreen Hospital, Damascus, and leading multiple endoscopy and training units. As a member of the Scientific Council for the Syrian Board of Gastroenterology, he has been instrumental in training and mentoring future specialists, contributing significantly to medical education and professional development in his field.
