Dr. Chummar's academic credentials include a BDS from Mumbai, an MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from reputed Medical Institutions in India, coupled with a postgraduate qualification in Oral Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, UK. He is also an AO CranioMaxillofacial Fellow (2013) and IBRA Scholar (2010).

Dr. Chummar is a pioneer in introducing best practices and setting up a world-class Oral and Maxillofacial surgical facility in, Dubai. This is considered a key referral Medical Centre for all Maxillofacial Surgeries. He was the first surgeon to start sedation in dental chairs in the UAE.
