Dr. Ali brings over 40 years of extensive medical experience in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Internal Medicine. Dr. Ali holds an M.B.Ch.B. and Diploma in Internal Medicine from the University of Baghdad, is Arab Board–certified by the Arab Board of Medical Specialties, and earned the Iraqi Board (FICMS) in Gastroenterology.
With vast expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy, ERCP, liver biopsy, and the management of complex gastrointestinal and liver diseases, Dr. Ali has also served as Head of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Medical City Teaching Hospital in Baghdad. Dr. Ali is actively involved in academic training and has multiple published research papers in gastroenterology.

Endoscopy
Endoscopy consists in the examination of gastrointestinal organs using a high-resolution fiberoptic camera, in order to detect and treat conditions like inflammation and tumors. At Rami Hamed Center, we use the most advanced technology available to ensure the safest and most thorough examination possible. Dr. Ali has done thousands of procedures and is highly skilled in endoscopic examinations.

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a complex disorder of the intestines and affects more than 1 in 10 people worldwide. Its occurrence is expected to increase due to dietary and climatic changes in our society. It causes uncomfortable symptoms such as diarrhea, bloating, abdominal pain and constipation among others. ERCP - Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography
ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) is a procedure that helps investigate most pancreatic, biliary, hepatic, and gallbladder diseases, using a flexible, lighted fiberoptic endoscope (duodenoscope), which is passed from the mouth through the esophagus, stomach, and finally into the first and second duodenum.
