Dr. Medhat Aker is a UK-trained Consultant in Colorectal and General Surgery, currently practicing at Dr. Rami Hamed Center (DRHC), Dubai. He has extensive experience in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, colorectal cancer management, and complex surgical conditions. His clinical expertise covers colorectal cancers, complex and recurrent colorectal conditions, hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, proctology, emergency abdominal surgery, and trauma management.

Dr. Aker holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Surgery, Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in General and Colorectal Surgery, an MD by Research focused on rectal cancer imaging biomarkers, and a Master of Surgery (MCh) in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery.
