Dr. Al Shater graduated from a Syrian medical school, followed by the Syrian Board in General Surgery. Dr. Al Shater started his medical career as a laparoscopic general surgeon in his private surgical clinic in Syria, in addition to many private hospitals for a couple of years. Then, Dr. Al Shater moved to the United Arab Emirates 2014.
Dr. Al Shater performed more than 2,500 major and intermediate surgical cases using cutting-edge medical technologies.
In addition to attending numerous surgical conferences, Dr. Al Shater participates in several surgical courses worldwide.
