Tympanoplasty is a procedure done for reconstruction of the middle ear components (ear drum perforation) and the ossicular chain (tiny ear bones) with or without using the artificial replacements. This operation is microscopic procedure and should be done in the fully equipped OT. Patient might discharge same day or next day of the operation.
